<p>The industry has mentioned in its proposal that currently, it is using both the boilers of capacity 4 TPH & 3 TPH together (i.e. total capacity 7 TPH). Further, both of these are FO fired.</p>
<p>After expansion/modernisaation. the industry shall use only boiler of capacity 6 TPH, which shall be brequette fired. Further, the boiler of capacity 4 TPH shall be kept for only backup purposes. Also, this boiler shall be converted from FO fired to PNG fired. In this regard, a special condition may also be imposed that the industry shall not operate its standby boiler of capacity 4 TPH, withouit prior initmation to the Board, in any case.</p>
<p>As such, the industry has not proposed to increase its production capacity and has proposed to replace its existing boilers in order to provide <span style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #5d5d5d; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif'; text-align: justify; text-indent: 12px;">better fuel efficiency and with a view to switch to cleaner fuels.</span></p>
<p><span style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #5d5d5d; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif'; text-align: justify; text-indent: 12px;">Submitted for taking action as already proposed vide note dated 30.11.2022, subject to another additional condition as under:</span></p>
