<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">It is intimated that the industry has submitted reply of the show cause notice. The copy of reply is attached herewith. The reply was perused and it was observed that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN">The industry has admitted that they are operating the ETP after 5-6 days' interval due to less generation of trade effluent. However, the industry has submitted that they are operating the ETP on regular basis i.e. as per demand.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><strong><span lang="EN-IN">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></strong><!--[endif]--><strong><span lang="EN-IN">The industry has not provided ETP of adequate capacity as it has submitted that the maximum estimated effluent generation is 5.5 KLD and the exciting ETP is of 5 KLD capacity.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><strong><span lang="EN-IN">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></strong><!--[endif]--><strong><span lang="EN-IN">The industry has admitted that is has already installed machinery purposed in the CTE application and has already increased the production.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN"> The industry is providing water meter on fresh water line and effluent collection pit near to machine area and installed a pump with pipeline to transfer the effluent directly to ETP collection tank. To monitor the generated effluent quantity, it has installed a meter before ETP collection tank. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN">The industry has submitted that it has taken adequate precautions to prevent spillage of effluent & collection tray provided. But still, it is installing drain line in effluent collecting tray & connect directly to pit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">The industry has sought 7-10 days' time to complete the activities mentioned at sr. no 4 and 5 above.</span></p>
