<p>May kindly peruse note history wherein the draft proceedings were sent for approval. In view of the observations of the Member Secretary vide note dated 25.11.2022; it is recommended that the following revised proceeding may kindly be approved;</p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -18pt; line-height: 18.4px; margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt 36pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 17.6333px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: black;">(4)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 17.6333px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: black;">Environmental Engineer, Regional Office-2, Jalandhar shall visit the industry to check the installation of STP, verify whether the machinery newly installed by the industry is polluting in nature and submit the report alongwith recommendations to decide the consent application by 16.11.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -18pt; line-height: 18.4px; margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt 36pt;"><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 17.6333px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">(5)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 17.6333px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">In case of failure to install/commission the STP by 30/11/2022, then the case be referred to the Committee constituted by the Board vide office order no. 260 dated 10.08.2022 for calculation/ evaluation of the Environmental Compensation to be imposed on the industry.</span> </p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -18pt; line-height: 18.4px; margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt 36pt;">(6) The CTO under Air Act be granted to the industry with condition that it will not add any polluting process without prior approval of the Board. </p>
