CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2019/9919507 dated 17/05/2019 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2019/9919494 dated 17/05/2019 both having validity upto 30/09/2023 for production of Bricks @18000 Numbers/Day, subject to suitable conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin: 0cm 0.2pt 6pt 0cm; text-align: justify; text-indent: 9pt; line-height: 18.4px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';"> Now, the industry has applied for renewal of ‘consent to operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 with requisite documents and consent fee.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin: 0cm 0.2pt 6pt 0cm; text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 18.4px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">As per the record file, earlier the industry has deposited fee, which is adequate upto 31.03.2028. Now, the industry has deposited Rs. 18000/- vide UTR no. N327222216921602 dated 23.11.2022 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 18500/- vide UTR no. N327222216918316 dated 23.11.2022, which is adequate upto 31.03.2033 against the fixed assets of Rs. 19.68 lakhs as on 31.10.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin: 0cm 0.2pt 6pt 0cm; text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 18.4px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">It is worth to mention here that as per the office order dated 02/02/2016, it has been directed to process the cases of Orange and green category of industries solely on the undertaking submitted by the industry and since the project proponent has submitted the compliance report of the conditions imposed in the consent to operate granted under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the same may be considered as good as the undertaking to the effect that it is complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. Hence, the industry was not visited by undersigned since it has apply for renewal of Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin: 0cm 0.2pt 6pt 0cm; text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 18.4px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif'; color: red;"> </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">In the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate granted to the industry under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be renewed upto 30.09.2027 subject to suitable conditions and additional conditions that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 18.4px; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">This letter shall remain appended with the original consent to operate granted to the industry under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. </span><span lang="EN-US">CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2019/9919507 dated 17/05/2019 </span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. </span><span lang="EN-US">CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2019/9919494 dated 17/05/2019</span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 18.4px; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">The industry shall comply with code of practice lay down by the Board for such units and shall submit the point wise compliance of the same within 01 month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 18.4px; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">The industry shall not use any unauthorized fuel for burning purpose in the brick kiln</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 18.4px; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">The industry shall discharge domestic effluent onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 18.4px; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">The unit shall ensure that no nuisance is created in the vicinity of its premises from the operations of its service station. In case, any complaint is received against the unit, the Board shall be at liberty to revoke/ cancel this consent without giving any opportunity of hearing to the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 18.4px; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">The Consent is being auto-renewed to the industry based upon the undertaking/ documents/ information submitted by it alongwith the online application form. The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 18.4px; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="line-height: 18.4px;">7.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US">In case the industry fails to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/or any other environmental law applicable to the project and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time, action as deemed fit shall be taken against the industry.</span></p>
