<p style="text-align: justify;">Earlier, Industry was found byepassing effluent into sewer as such, the electric connection of the industry was disconnected. The industry was imposed EC of Rs. 7.0 Lac. The electric connection of the industry was restored upto 12.12.2022 after depositing EC of Rs. 7.0 Lac vide R.No. 49/5429 dated 13.06.2022 by the industry.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that M/s Dhawan Processors (Unit-II) obtained NOC vide no. CTE/Fresh/LDH4/2019/9861710 dated 28.05.2019 valid upto 27.05.2020 for establishment of Dyeing unit with permission for discharge of treated trade effluent @ 375 KLD and domestic effluent @ 2.5 KLD into sewer. The NOC was granted before the directions of the State Govt. dated 10.10.2019. Thereafter the NOC was extended upto 24.06.2022 with special condition that the industry will not operate the unit prior to the commissioning of the 40 MLD CETP. This can be considered that the discharge will be into CETP and not violating the directions of State Govt. dated 10.10.2019.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that:-</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">1. The electric connection u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 may be restored temporarily for six months.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. The present application for varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for six months after merger for trade effluent @ 970 KLD and domestic effluent @ 05 into CETP 40 MLD (Focal Point Module).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. Show cause notice under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be issued for non-compliance of decisions of personal hearing before CEE, Ludhiana on 27.07.2022.</p>
