<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The unit has applied for fresh consent to establish (NOC) for washing & cutting of drums under small scale red category unit.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has proposed to install common facility for the collection treatment & disposal of hazardous waste category 33.1 which requires Actual User Certificate.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry was visited by AEE on 23.11.2022 and reported that the unit has already constructed boundary wall, labour room. The industry has submitted letter from DTP, Hoshiarpur bearing no. 850 dated 30.08.2022 <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">in which it is not mentioned regarding the classification of the area for the suitability of the site.</strong> The unit has proposed installed ETP of capacity 1.5 KLD for treatment of wastewater generated from washing of drums and treated effluent will be discharged onto land for plantation. <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">But the industry has not submitted detail of plantation area where the treated effluent will be discharged and its adequacy as per quantity of effluent discharge.</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Keeping in view of above, if approved, show cause notice for refusal of consent to establish (NOC) under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry with hearing at Z.O level please. </span></p> |
