<p class="MsoBodyText" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">This letter shall remain appended with the original consent to operate granted to the industry vide no. CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2019/10515639 dated 17/08/2019 under the Water Act, 1974 and vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2019/10946346 dated 26/08/2019 under the Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">The unit shall not use any fuel in its premises except HSD for operation of DG set.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">The entire responsibility of adequacy and efficacy of the treatment scheme shall be of the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">The industry shall not discharge the effluent into any drain/choe/nallah, in any case.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">The industry shall not discharge any effluent at any unauthorized place by any unauthorized means i.e. shall not discharge any wastewater in any drain / inland surface waters / drain/choe/nallah/ onto land for stagnation or outside its premises, at any time, under any circumstances.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">The unit shall ensure that no nuisance is created in the vicinity of its premises from the operations of its service station. In case, any complaint is received against the unit, the Board shall be at liberty to revoke/ cancel this consent without giving any opportunity of hearing to the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">7.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">The ‘consent to operate’ is being issued to the project proponent based upon the documents/ information submitted by it alongwith the online application form. The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry/project proponent and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time, without any opportunity of Personal Hearing.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; line-height: 16.3pt; background: white; margin: 8.05pt -2.3pt 0.0001pt 21.3pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">8.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt;">In case the project proponent fails to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/or any other environmental law applicable to the project and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time, action as deemed fit shall be taken against the project proponent.</span></p> |
