<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the consent application has been received by the undersigned on 08/11/2022 and processed on 22/11/2022 i.e., within 10 working days. It is ensured that the cases will be dealt with at the earliest in the future.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">It is also added that earlier, the samples were collected by Regional Office and sent to Zonal Lab, Ludhiana. The cases were recommended to the Zonal Office subject to receipt of samples. Till the case reaches Zonal Office, a copy of sample reports is received from the Zonal lab (which usually takes 8-10 days) and the cases were processed on merits by the Zonal level directly to save time. (Pl see application no. 16874685 for reference)</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">However, in the future, cases will be sent to Zonal Office only after the receipt of sample reports from the Lab as per the directions of the present Senior Environmental Engineer and it will also be ensured that no Red category industry application is accepted without Board’s sample analysis report.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">The sample analysis report has been received from Zonal Lab, Ludhiana vide ends no. 1931 dated 01/12/2022 (Recd. On 05/12/2022) and as per the report, the samples are within the prescribed limits of the Board. The parameters came out to be pH @ 7.32, TSS @ 41 mg/l, TDS @ 838 mg/l, COD @ 136 mg/l, BOD @ 27 mg/l, O&G @ 4.4 mg/l, Amm.N @ 5 mg/l and other parameters are below detection limit.</p>
