<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13pt;"> The industry is a small scale orange category stone crusher and was granted consent under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 both valid upto 30.09.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13pt;"> Thereafter, the consent granted under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 were revoked/cancelled as the mining sites were suspended by the Govt. of Punjab& FIR was been lodged against the stone crusher for indulging in illegal mining. Further, directions u/s 33-A of Water Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of Air Act, 1981 were issued to PSPCL Authorities to disconnect the supply of electricity.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13pt;"> Now, the stone crusher has applied for Consent under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 alongwith restoration of electric connection. The stone crusher was visited by AEE on 25.11.2022 and observed that the stone crusher was not in operation and lying closed due to disconnecting of the electric connection and PSPCL Authorities disconnected the electric connection vide TDCO no. 23 dated 07.09.2022. The industry has submitted the copy of Registration certificate issued by Mining Department, which is valid upto 16.11.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13pt;"> The Regional Office has approved consent under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for 06-months.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13pt;"> </span><span style="font-size: 13pt;"> </span><span style="font-size: 13pt;">In view of above, if approved, the electric connection of the industry may be restored temporarily for six months with usual conditions.
