<p style="text-align: justify;">The note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the industry is small scale red category dyeing unit. The industry was granted consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981, valid upto 28.01.2023 for using rice husk/agro waste in its boiler of capacity 6.0 TPH with Two stage alkali scrubber.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Earlier, the industry was found using unauthorized fuel i.e. dried poultry waste in its boiler during visit on 03.07.2022. As such, the electric connection of the industry was disconnected.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Directions u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was also issued to PSPCL authorities to restore the electricity connection of the industry temporarily upto 28.01.2023.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, the industry has applied for Consent to Operate under the Air Act, 1981 for dyeing of Polyester Fabric @ 10000 Kg/day with discharge of trade effluent @ 1380 KLD & domestic effluent @ 95 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD and for using rice husk/agro waste in its boiler of capacity 6.0 TPH with Two stage alkali scrubber. The industry has deposited consent fee, which is adequate upto 31.03.2024 under Air Act, 1981.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The industry was visited by AEE of RO on 24.11.2022 and observed as under:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The industry was in operation and engaged in the process of dyeing of polyester fabric.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed 12 soft flow machines of capacities (2x600 Kg), (7x300 Kg), (2x500 Kg) & (1x150 Kg) & 01 sample machine in its premises.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed a boiler of capacity 06 TPH capacity and has provided trima cyclone separator as APCD alongwith stack of adequate height and proper sampling arrangements. The rice husk was being used as fuel during visit. The stack was almost clear during visit.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->The stack emission samples were collected during visit and as per the anlaysis report results are within limits. The industry has also got analyzed its air emission samples from the Board approved lab on 12.11.2022 and as per the analysis report results are within limits.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5. <!--[endif]-->The industry has also installed one DG set of capacity 240 KVA equipped with canopy and adequate heights.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6. <!--[endif]-->The industry has submitted 02 new Bank Guarantee of amounting Rs. 2.0 Lac & Rs. 50,000/- in lieu of old expired Bank Guarantees, which are valid upto 16.11.2023 each.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->Directions u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be issued to restore the electricity supply of the industry temporarily further six mo<a name="_GoBack"></a>nths.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->Consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be considered for grant for six month with usual condition, please.</p>
