<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> The project proponent has applied for obtaining ‘Consent to Establish’ / NOC under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for establishment of dyeing unit for Dyeing of Acrylic Yarn @ 1500 Kgs/day & Dyeing of Polyester Fabric @ 3000 Kgs/day with discharge of trade effluent @ 400 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD & domestic effluent @ 0.8 KLD into sewer alongwith one boiler of 6 TPH. The industry has deposited NOC fee, which is adequate. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As per the list regarding tentative allotment of share dated 22.07.2022 supplied by the Punjab Dyers Association, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana this unit has not granted any share of CETP 50 MLD, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Board has already issued directions vide no. 27541 dated 22.12.2020 to the SPV, Tajpur Road, that no new entity (existing or proposed unit) shall be allocated any shares by managing committee of SPV without the prior approval of the Chairman of the Board.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Also, the Competent Authority of the Board in office note 19582356 has also decided that no further CTE/CTO for any new/ expansion of dyeing units shall be given without permission of Head Office.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Keeping the above in view, it is recommended that Consent to Establish/ NOC applied by the industry under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 be refused, please.</p>
