<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> Kindly peruse the agenda note and recommendation given by RO. It is intimated that the industry has applied for CTO under the Air Act, of 1981.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">R.O. has reported that the industry has submitted an E.C. amounting to Rs. 5.0 Lakhs,</span><span lang="EN-IN"> b</span>oth boilers (i.e. 40 TPH each) were in operation along with APCD installed. Stacks of the same were found almost clear, the industry at present is disposing off fly ash generated from its boiler section through private contractors outside its premises. The representative of the industry informed that the land measuring almost 105 acres located at Village Nimbua has been sold out and they are no more owners of that site.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">In view of the above, it is clear that the industry is making to best effort to comply with the decisions of hearing(s).</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">If approved, CTO applied under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted up to 30/6/2023 along with special conditions as proposed by E.E, RO, and additional conditions may also be imposed that</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">a. The industry shall comply with decisions of the hearing dated 8/6/2021,28/3/2022, and 11/11/22, the Hon'ble NGT order dated 25/2/2021 passed in OA no. 33 of 2013, OA no. 30 of 2013, OA no. 101 of 2020 and also comply with the SOP framed by CPCB for such type of industries.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN"> b </span>Fly ash generated from the industry shall be transported and dumped outside the premises in an environmentally/scientifically sound manner and shall maintain a proper record regarding the generation and disposal of fly ash.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">c. E.E, Regional Office shall visit the industry as per protocol framed by the Board to verify decisions of the hearing dated 8/6/2021 & 28/3/2022, and the Hon'ble NGT order dated 25/2/2021 passed in OA no. 33 of 2013, OA no. 30 of 2013, OA no. 101 of 2020 and also comply with the SOP framed by CPCB for such type of industries</span> and monitor the all stacks installed by industry and send the report along with the recommendation.</span></p>
