<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> Kindly peruse the agenda note and recommendation given by RO. It is intimated that the industry has applied CTO under the Water Act, 1974 for the generation of low TDS @ 88.4 after treatment in existing ETP of capacity 1500 KLD (located at Unit-II) and High TDS @ 72.4 feed into exiting MEE (located at Unit-II). R.O. has reported that the industry has submitted an E.C. amounting to Rs. 5.0 Lakhs. The industry has provided water on different streams, the entire sludge generated from the process is being disposed to TSDF, R.O permeate was being used for cooling tower and partially onto land plantation within its premises, no discharge of any treated/ untreated effluent out the industrial premises.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">In view of the above, it is clear that the industry is making to best effort to comply with the decisions of hearing(s). </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">If approved </span><span lang="EN-IN">CTO applied under the Water Act, 1974 may be granted up to 30/6/2023 along with special conditions as proposed by E.E, RO. Additional conditions may also be imposed that </span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN">a. </span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN">The industry shall comply with decisions of the hearing dated 8/6/2021 & 28/3/2022, </span>and 11/11/2022. and the Hon'ble NGT order dated 25/2/2021 passed in OA no. 33 of 2013, OA no. 30 of 2013, and OA no. 101 of 2020, and also comply with the SOP framed by CPCB for such types of industries.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">b </span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN">The industry shall not generate a low TDS of more than the quantity of 88.4 KLD and a high TDS of 72.4 KLD under any circumstances. </span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">c. </span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN">E.E, Regional Office shall visit the industry as per protocol framed by the Board to verify decisions of the hearing dated 8/6/2021 & 28/3/2022, and the Hon'ble NGT order dated 25/2/2021 passed in OA no. 33 of 2013, OA no. 30 of 2013, OA no. 101 of 2020 and also comply with the SOP framed by CPCB for such type of industries and send the report along with recommendations </span></span></p>
