The BKO was submitted completion certificate along with design drawing issued by PSCST, Chandigarh vide letter no. PSCST/CC/685 dated 26/02/2018 intimating that the BKO has constructed induced draft Brick Kiln with zig-zag firing as per the technology evolved by the Punjab State Council for Science & Technology.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;">Accordingly, the consent to operate Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted to the BKO vide online reference no. CTOA/Fresh/GRP/2019/9628814 dated 11/05/2019, which is valid upto 30/09/2024.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;">Now the subject cited BKO has applied for obtaining consent to operate under water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 through OCMMS mode along with requisite documents.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;">The industry has deposited Rs. 29500/- vide Online UTR No. KKBKH22280774679 dated 07/10/2022 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 including Rs. 500/- as form downloading fee, which is adequate upto 30/09/2027 against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 28,22,000/- as on 31/10/2022 as per CA certificate submitted by the industry. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;">As above, the brick kiln has already submitted completion certificate dated 26/02/2018 issued from <span style="background: white;">PSCST, Chandigarh and has converted its kiln into induced draft technology as per guidelines of the Govt. and hence, no EC is required to be imposed on the brick kiln. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;">In view of the above, may if approved “Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the BKO without visiting the unit in the light of Head Office Order No. 59 dated 02/02/2016 for a period upto 30/09/2027 subject to the suitable conditions.</span></p> |
