CTOW/Renewal/HSP/2022/17698230 dated 25.02.2022 which is valid upto 31.12.2022 with conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">Now, the hotel has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. The hotel has filled online application form, uploaded compliance of earlier granted consents, latest CA Certificate. The hotel has already deposited Rs. 55100/- vide cheque no. 522939 dated 06.08.2020 under Water Act, Rs. 55100/- vide cheque no. 522938 dated 06.08.2020 under Air Act. The fee deposited by the hotel is adequate upto 30.06.2025 under both Acts. </span></p>

MC, Hoshiarpur has installed STP of 30 MLD capacity at Village Piplanwala for the treatment of domestic effluent being generated from the Hoshiarpur City. During visit, there was no flow outlet of Oil & Grease traps, hence the effluent sample could not be collected. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">In view of above, if approved it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the hotel upto 30.09.2024 with usual terms and conditions with special condition that the hotel shall submit effluent analysis from the Board's lab within 02 months. The hotel shall comply with all the guidelines issued by Punjab Pollution Control Board time to time. </span></p> |
