<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: normal; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is submitted that the hotel has freshly applied for obtaining consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, under Orange Category through OCMMS with required documents for 24 no. rooms. The unit has submitted CA Certificate, land documents, trade license payment receipt issued by MC Amritsar, site plan/location, dimensional drawing of STP of capacity 10 KLD, completion certificate of STP issued by M/s Guru Ramdas Construction Co., NOC for commercial plot issued by the office of Amritsar Development Authority, Amritsar vide no. 9414 dated 03/09/2020. The unit has also submitted a copy of effluent analysis report issued by M/s SIMA Labs as per which, various parameters are found within prescribed limits of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The site of the unit was visited by officer of this office on 06/12/2022 and observed that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The unit is a hotel having 24 no. rooms and engaged in the services of hospitality.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The unit has installed STP for the treatment of domestic effluent being arise from its unit and the discharge of the same is onto land for plantation after treatment.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The unit has installed a DG set of capacity @ 240 KVA, which is fitted with canopy.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>It is further intimated that the unit is complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The unit falls in Orange category in the small scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Keeping in view of above, may if approved, the Consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 be granted to the unit up to 30/09/2027 with suitable conditions along with special conditions that the unit will get effluent sample analyzed from the Board’s lab within 02 months.</span></span></p> |
