<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">It is intimated that 1. Earlier, the HCF had obtained consent to operate from the Board for discharge of domestic treated effluent @ 09 KLD for 15 authorized beds. Now, the HCF revised its bed capacity from 15 beds to 25 beds and has applied for obtaining consent for the discharge of same quantity of effluent i.e. 09 KLD.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">It is clarify here that for 15 authorized beds, generation of effluent should be 5.25 KLD, but the HCF has already obtained consent under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 from the Board for discharge of domestic treated effluent @ 09 KLD.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Now, the HCF has applied for obtaining consent for 25 authorized beds for which the HCF has already installed ETP of capacity 10 KLD for treating its domestic effluent. Installed capacity of ETP i.e. 10 KLD is sufficient for treating domestic effluent being generated from the HCF premises of capacity 25 authorized beds.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">In view of the above, it is therefore, again recommended that to grant consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 in light of my note dated 06/12/2022 please.</p> |
