The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 12.9pt; background: white; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px; margin: 0cm .2pt 6.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;"><span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal;"> </span>viii.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal;"> </span>In case the industry fails to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/or any other environmental law applicable to the project and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time, action as deemed fit shall be taken against the industry.</span></p>

In the said endorsement, it would be mentioned that in case no reply is received from the aforesaid Authority within 15 days, then, it would be presumed that the proposed site is suitable for the project from the point of view of above referred Competent Authority.</span></p>
