<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The kiln was earlier granted consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH4/2019/9698366 issued on 22-04-2019 which was valid upto 30-09-2023 for operation of brick kiln with Zig-zag technology to manufacture bricks & tiles @ 40,000 nos./day, <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%;">subject to the conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Now the Brick kiln has applied for consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 for operation of brick kiln with Zig-zag technology to manufacture bricks & tiles @ 40,000 nos./day. The kiln has deposited consent fees of Rs. 11,000/- through online vide R.no. 145838483 dated 05-11-2022, Rs. 20000/- through online vide R.no. 862854659 dated 02-12-2022 and Rs. 1800/- through online vide R. No. IOBAN22282598126 dated 09-10-2022 under Water Act, 1974 against the fixed asset of Rs. 18.19 lac as per the C.A. certificate, which is adequate up to 31.12.2032. The brick kiln has submitted DTP certificate vide no. 2977<span style="mso-bidi-language: PA;"> dated 12.09.2014 stated as under:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The Brick kiln was visited by the officer of this office on 06-12-2022 and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">and it was observed as under:</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">1. The kiln was not in operation during visit due to off season.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">2. The kiln has converted its kiln to zig-zag technology as per design of CBRI. The CBRI has issued completion certificate dated 20.02.2019.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">3. The kiln has provided a ladder and a platform with the stack for collection of emission sample.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">4. The kiln has stabilized the periphery road / movement area.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">5. The kiln has provided adequate plantation all along its boundary.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">6. No unauthorized fuel was observed to be stored in brick kiln. The representative of the brick kiln was also guided to not use of unauthorized fuel.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that Consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the brick kiln for production of bricks & tiles @ 40,000 number/day under orange category for a period up to 30.09.2031, subject to the suitable conditions along with the following specific conditions:-</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The brick kiln shall not use/stored any unauthorized fuel at the kiln site.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The Brick Kiln may also develop the vermicomposting/composting to manage the biodegradable solid waste. PP shall not throw, burn or bury any solid wastes in open, outside premises or in drain/water bodies.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The Brick kiln shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic, through their Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities. (See attached banner)</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The Brick kiln shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The Brick kiln shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</p> |
