<p><span lang="EN-US">RO has reported that earlier the consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted upto 30/09/2022 for the operation of Marriage Palace vide online reference no. CTOW/Fresh/GRP/2018/7428521& CTOA/Fresh/GRP/2018/7428420 dated 14/05/2018 respectively under orange category.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> Now the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of Marriage Palace through OCMMS in a totally paperless manner by uploading necessary documents as PDF under orange category.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> The industry has deposited Rs. 19,000/- vide UTR No. IDIBH22276424662 dated 04/10/2022 Rs. 19,500/- vide UTR No. IDIBH22276424672 dated 04/10/2022 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 500/- as Form Downloading fee against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 70,10,700/- as on 30/09/2022 and same are adequate upto 30/09/2027 under both Acts. As per C.A. Certificate submitted by the Marriage Palace there is no change in the total fixed assets of the industry as compared to its previous value.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> As per policy of the Board and in the light of Head Office Order No. 59 dated 02/02/2016, the consent cases of Orange Category units are to be processed without visiting.</span><span lang="EN-US"> (Agenda Note is also attached herewith).</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">RO has recommended that </span>consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be extended upto 30/09/2027 with suitable conditions.</p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> </span>In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be extended upto 30/09/2027 with suitable conditions along with special conditions that:- </p>
<p>1. The Project Proponent shall install & commission STP or Oil & Grease trap followed by septic tank.</p>
<p>2. The project proponent shall obtain necessary permission from Punjab Water Regulation & Development Authority (PWRDA) for extraction of ground water. </p>
<p>3. The project proponent shall maintain records of fresh water consumption and operation of STP on daily basis.</p>
<p>4. The project proponent shall properly channelize the fugitive emissions including emissions from cooking & kitchen operations by providing proper ducting / hood arrangement and proper exhaust system.</p>
<p>5. The project proponent shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</p>
<p>6. The Project Proponent shall develop the vermi-composting/composting to manage the bio-degradable solid wastes.</p>
<p>7. The project proponent shall not throw burn or burry any solid wastes in open outside premises or in drain / water bodies.</p>
<p>8. The project proponent shall not use or allow to use single use plastic (SUP) items in the premises as same are banned from 01/07/2022 as per the Notification of Govt. of India as well as Punjab.</p>
<p>9. The Regional Office shall visit the site, verify status and submit detailed report along with recommendations within 01-month.</p>
