<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">It is submitted that the unit has applied for obtaining Consent to Operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, under Green Category through OCMMS with required documents for operating of Hotel @ 14 Nos/day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">The unit has deposited Rs. 5000/- vide UTR/Ref. No. IDIBH22341398468 dated 07/12/2022 and Rs. 5000/- vide UTR/Ref. No. IDIBH22341398662 dated 07/12/2022 under VDS Scheme (Voluntarily Disclosure Scheme). The unit has also deposited Rs. 33,600/- vide UTR/Ref. No. IDIBH22330108274 dated 26/11/2022 as consent fee under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 34,100/- vide UTR/Ref. No. IDIBH22330108504 dated 26/11/2022 as consent fee under Air Act, 1981 (including Rs. 500/- as an application form fee), which is adequate up to 31/12/2030. The unit has submitted registered deed, latest CA Certificate, proof of date of commissioning, site plan/location plan & NOC issued by MTP vide letter no. MTP/502 dated 06/06/2016, in which it is reported that “The area is surrounded by Residential / Commercial Area. The site falls under non-scheme area. CLU charges have been deposited by the applicant.”</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;"> The proposed site of the industry was visited by officer of this office on 06/12/2022 and observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">The unit is a</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">hotel and has applied under Green Category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">The unit falls on the Ajnala Road, District Amritsar.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">The hotel having the capacity of 14 rooms and has started its operation.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">The hotel has provided septic tank for its domestic effluent and the discharge of the same is into public sewer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">The hotel has installed a DG set of capacity 82 KVA, which is fitted with canopy.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">As per the categorization of CPCB, the industry falls under list of green category industries, “Hotels (up to 20 rooms and without boilers) and having waste water generation <10 KLD and no hazardous waste generation” at serial no. 3052.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;"> It is further submitted that the unit falls in Green category in Small Scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with Environmental Engineer of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; color: red; background: white;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">In view of the above, if approved, the consent to operate under the provisions of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the unit under Green Category up to 31/12/2030 with usual terms and conditions along with following special conditions:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">1. The unit will comply with the conditions of consents granted to it.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">2. The unit at any stage will not generate any emission and trade effluent from its premises.</span></p> |
