<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">It is intimated that the industry was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/HSP/2018/7785611 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/HSP/2018/7782657 dated 07.08.2018 which were valid upto 30.09.2022 with conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The industry has already deposited Rs. 16200/- vide receipt no. 05/4755 dated 25.06.2018 under Water Act, Rs. 16200/- vide receipt no. 04/4755 dated 25.06.2018 under Air Act, Rs. 3000/- vide receipt no. 03/4755 dated 25.06.2018 as NOC regularization fee and now deposited Rs. 16800/- vide UTR No. 247451498 dated 30.09.2022 under Air Act, 1981, Rs. 16800/- vide UTR No. 206412657 dated 30.09.2022 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 5600/- vide UTR No. 443153637 dated 25.11.2022 as NOC regularization fee.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.06.2025. Earlier the industry has submitted total fixed assets of Rs. 67.14 lacs and now the industry has submitted total fixed assets of Rs. 132.17 lacs, but the industry has not submitted any details regarding increased in total fixed assets. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">The industry was visited by officer of this office on 07.12.2022 and observed that the industry was in operation. The industry is engaged in the production of plywood & plyboard and uses face veneer, glue, wood, core veneer, battens as raw material. The industry has 01 no. boiler of capacity 3 TPH along with cyclone separator as APCD with adequate stack height & sampling arrangements. Earlier, the stack emission sampling was carried out by the officers of the Board on 12.01.2021 and as analysis report received from ZO, Lab, vide no. 297-98 dated 29.01.2021, the concentration of SPM is 640 mg/Nm3 against 500 mg/Nm3, which is beyond the limits prescribed by the Board. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has 01no. DG set of capacity 200 kva with canopy and inadequate stack height. During visit black smoke emitting from the stack (Photographs attached). It is further intimated that the industry has installed newly one no. boiler of capacity 6 TPH without prior permission of the Board, which was not in operation. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has not installed septic tank for the utilization of domestic effluent.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The domestic effluent generated from the labour quarter is directly discharged onto land for plantation nearby by agricultural land. The industry has installed one no. glue kettle mixer.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The representative of the industry (Sh. Onkar Singh, Manager) was informed that the glue kettle washed after 15 days and this effluent will be discharged into pit of size 3x 3 ft. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>During visit, the house keeping observed near the labour quarter is very poor.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The gun spray painting on plyboard was done in open area inside premises. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">The photographs taken during the visit are attached herewith. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">In view of above, if approved, it is recommended consent to operate applied under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be refused due to above said reasons please.</span></p> |
