<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">It is submitted that the industry was visited by EE and the undersigned on 08-12-22 and contacted Sh. Puran Chand Verma, HR Manager and Sh. Alkesh Trivedi, Quality Head at site. During visit, it was observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN">The industry was in operation and is involved in manufacturing of Tomato gravy @3 TPD from tomato pury and Oat milk @1TPD. The representative of the industry informed that they manufacture Ice tea and Cocktail @ 2TPD also. They have never processed cereal grains and was not found processing fresh vegetables. The above facts ate contrary to the raw material and product details mentioned in the application.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN">The flow meter on the submersible pump and at the outlet of ETP was not working. Moreover, the record of fresh water was not maintained and that of the outlet of ETP was maintained upto 28-12-2021. Therefore the actual quantity of fresh water consumption and discharge could not be verified. The representative of the industry informed water is being used in the process to manufacture various products after RO, in CIP, in Boiler and effluent to the tune of 25KLD to 30 KLD is generated which is treated in ETP based on rootzone technology. The above facts are contrary to the fresh water consumption @ 5.5KLD and other details mentioned in the application.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN">Also, there were other violations noted during visit.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN"> In view of above, if approved, the water application of the industry may be returned. A separate detail note through e-noting is being processed to take action against the industry under the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</span></p> |
