<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">It is intimated that the Board had already imposed an E.C. of Rs. 2.0 Lacs for such types of violations carried out by the industry to degrade the environment. </span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">If approved, the following action may be taken:</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">1) That the industry shall deposit the Environmental Compensation (EC) amounting to Rs. 2.0 Lakhs in the O/o Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, SAS Nagar.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">2) Fresh CTO under the AirAct, 1981 may be granted for six months with the special condition as proposed by EE, RO. EE, RO may also be requested to visit the site as per protocol fixed by the Board for restoration of the electric connection of the industry.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">3) Amended direction u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981 may be issued to PSPCL authorities to restore the electric connection temporarily to the industry for six months. </span></p>
