<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The marriage palace was granted ‘Consent to operate’ under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981, both valid upto 31.12.2022 subject to conditions mentioned therein. The electricity supply of the industry also restored temporarily for period upto 31.12.2022.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, the marriage palace has applied for renewal of ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. The marriage palace has deposited consents fee, which is adequate upto 28.02.2024 under both acts.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The marriage palace was visited by AEE of RO on 05.12.2022 and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The marriage palace was not in operation due to non-availability of any function.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The marriage palace has 01 banquet hall of capacity about 250 persons and 01 kitchen on backside of marriage party hall.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->The marriage palace has provided STP for the treatment of effluent generated from kitchen section & washrooms. STP has been made operational by the project proponent. Separate energy meter & mechanical flow meter install at outlet to STP.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->The marriage palace has provided plantation in the reserved green area and along the boundary of one acre land reserved for parking. Total plantation area is 02 Kanal and is sufficient for disposal of treated domestic effluent.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5. <!--[endif]-->The marriage palace has provided 03 pits of size 1m x 1m x 1m for processing of bio-degradable waste generated from its premises.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6. <!--[endif]-->The marriage palace has installed 03 DG sets of capacity 200 KVA, 125 KVA and 125 KVA, which are equipped with canopies and stacks of adequate heights.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Thus, the marriage palace is complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->A. <!--[endif]-->Directions u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be issued to the PSPCL authorities to restore the electricity supply of the marriage palace temporarily for six months.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->B. <!--[endif]-->‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the marriage palace for six months subject to suitable conditions along with special condition that:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The marriage palace shall get its effluent sample from Board's lab within 01 month.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The marriage palace shall operate its STP to treat effluent generated from kitchen section & washrooms regularly and efficiently.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. The marriage palace shall maintaining record of operation of STP properly.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->The industry will strictly comply with the all conditions of Master Plan Jagraon (2010-31).</p>
