<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The hotel is a small scale orange category unit and was granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for the disposal of domestic effluent @ 14.0 KLD into sewer after treatment through septic tank, both were expired on 30.09.2020.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, the hotel has applied for renewal consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The hotel has deposited consent fee, which are valid upto 31.03.2024.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The hotel was visited by AEE of RO on 01.12.2022 and observed as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. The hotel has provided a restaurant, bar, 03 no. banquet hall and 57 no. rooms inside the premises.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. The hotel has constructed marriage party hall in the basement for gathering of 100 to 150 persons per function.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3. The hotel has installed settling tanks followed by oil and grease traps for the treatment of effluent generated from the whole premises.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">4. The hotel has installed septic tank for the treatment of domestic effluent, thereafter the effluent is being discharged into sewer.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">5. The hotel has also installed 03 no. of DG sets of capacities 325 KVA, 320 KVA and 140 KVA with canopies inside the premises</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">6. The hotel is complying with the provisions of under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.03.2024 with suitable conditions. </p>
