<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">It is submitted that the project proponent has applied for Consent to Establish / NOC under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for development of Residential Plots @ 68 Number/Year, EWS Plots @ 7 Number/Year, Commercial Plots @ 9 Number/Year and Community Center @ 1 Number/Year, alongwith requisite documents and fees.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has deposited Rs. 22,100/- (21,600/- as NOC fees and Rs. 500/- as application form fees) vide online UTR no. N304222184348125 dated 31/10/2022. The NOC fees deposited by the project proponent is adequate for one year, against the proposed cost of Rs. 13.21 Crore (as per CA certificated dated 19/10/2022).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">A clarification was raised that MC Kharar STP capacity is not adequate. The PPCB has already given direction to MC Kharar and Zirakpur that no sewer connection may be allowed to new project until the Capacity of STP became adequate. In such cases the PP shall make self-arrangements for the disposal of treated effluent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted its reply through online which is mentioned below:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">“It is to highlighted that the treated waste water after STP will be utilized for development of green area (879.0541 sq.m) within project premises and excess will be discharged onto 0.6 acres adjoining land reserved under karnal technology till MC STP not achieve their adequacy. Thus, sufficient disposal arrangement for the excess treated wastewater to be utilized for karnal technology in our adjoining land. The land documents are attracted as Annexure 1. Marked khasra plan showing the location of land reserved under Karnal Technology is attached as Annexure 2. Also, MC Kharar has already issued NOC vide letter no. 1784 dated 02.09.2022 for disposal of treated wastewater into MC sewer. Furthermore, as the project is in its initial stages of development and commissioning of project will take time. Thus, in case the MC STP is upgraded at that time, adequate area will be developed under Karnal Technology for disposal of treated wastewater before any occupancy in the project.”</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The promoter company has submitted feasibility report got prepared by Eco Paryavaran Laboratories and Consultants Private Limited. As per feasibility report the promoter company has proposed to install STP of capacity 50 KLD based on MBBR technology.</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';"> </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The STP treatment process will consists of following stages.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%; margin: 12.0pt 0in .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">As per the feasibility report, the domestic water requirement for the project will be 47 KLD which will be provided through borewell.</span> <span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">About 38 KLD of sewage will be generated from the project which will be treated in the proposed STP of capacity 50 KLD. The treated wastewater after STP will be utilized for green area development within premises and remaining discharged into MC sewer (NOC from MC, Kharar for disposal of treated wastewater is obtained vide letter no. 1784 on dated 02.09.2022). However, 0.6 acre adjoining land has been reserved under Karnal Technology for disposal of excess treated wastewater till the MC sewer is connected.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted site plan approved by the competent authority. As per the feasibility report the project proponent shall generate 140 kg/day solid waste at full occupancy of the project. The promoter company has submitted a copy of letter issued by MC, Kharar vide no. 1789 dated 05/09/2022 for permission for Solid Waste Disposal for the project. The project proponent has submitted its CLU from Local Government, Punjab vide Memo No. PB/CLU/SAS/KHARA/1463 dated 30-12-2021</span> <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">or land measuring 14523.37 sq.mts located at Village Khuni Majra Kharar.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The site of the project was visited by AEE of this office on 08/12/2022 and during visit it was observed as under:</span></p>
