<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry was again visited by undersigned on 09.12.2022 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry was in operation for electroplating (nickel plating) on job basis.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry has provided flow meter at the source of water supply and reading of the same during visit was for 4310 litres, which is not coinciding with the record off water usage submitted by the industry in the clarification. During visit representative of the industry informed that they have been new to this business and reading of flow meter were not measured by them to the last digit, as such fresh water record usage was not properly maintained by them. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">During visit the industry was guided to read the flow meter accurately and accordingly to maintain the fresh water usage record on daily basis. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">In view of above, the industry is complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and minor violation was observed to which the industry has agreed to correct in future.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">It is therefore recommended the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for a period upto 30.06.2026 subject to the conditions and specific that The industry shall maintain record of fresh water usage on daily basis and submit the same to this office on monthly basis.</span> </p>
