<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 24px;">It is submitted that the hospital has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS for 25 beds.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 24px;">The hospital has deposited Rs. 12500/- vide UTR No. 279714502 dated 04/12/2022 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 500/- as application fee & Rs. 13000/- vide UTR No. AXSK223180018350 dated 14/11/2022 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 including Rs. 1000/- NOC Regularization fee which are adequate upto 30/09/2027.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 24px;">The HCF has submitted requisite documents along with online application. The HCF has also submitted completion certificate of ETP installed for capacity of 10 KLD for treatment of wastewater being generated from the HCF.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="line-height: 24px;">The Hospital was visited by officer of this office on 07/12/2022 and observed as under:-</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 23.1pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="line-height: 24px;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span>The hospital comprising of 25 beds engaged in the process of providing medical services.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 23.1pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="line-height: 24px;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span>The HCF has installed ETP to treat its effluent being generated from its premises and ETP was not in operation during visit as the collection tank was not filled with domestic effluent.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 23.1pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The HCF has not provided water meter at the outlet of ETP.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 23.1pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>During visit the representative was advised to install water meter at the outlet of the ETP and to maintain record regarding operation of ETP.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 23.1pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The HCF has provided needle destroyers for shredding of needles.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 23.1pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The HCF has provided color coded bins for collection/segregation of Bio Medical Waste, segregation of BMW found proper.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText2" style="margin-left: 23.1pt; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;">7.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The HCF has installed DG set of capacity 25 KVA provided with canopy and adequate stack height.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 16.8667px; font-family: Calibri, 'sans-serif';">It is pertinent to mentioned here that the proprietor of the HCF has submitted an undertaking and intimated that the HCF has provided 10 Marlas land of plantation area for disposal of treated effluent from ETP.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the HCF for a period upto six month with suitable conditions and special conditions as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 18.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The HCF shall make an agreement with the farmers having land adjoining to the hospital premises for discharging treated effluent for irrigation within 02 months period.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 18.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The HCF shall install water meter at the final outlet of ETP and separate energy meter for ETP & shall maintain record of the same.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt 18.6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif'; font-size: 11pt;">3. The HCF shall analysed its treated effluent samples from the Board lab within 02 months period.</span></p> |
