Earlier, the industry was granted consent under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 dated 30.04.2018 both valid upto 30.06.2022 through OCMMS.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi;"> Now the industry has applied for renewal of consents and RO has reported that the industry has provided 4 no. zinc plating barrels and the industry has made agreement with M/S JBR Tech. Ludhiana for the lifting/treatment of its trade effluent @ 2500 ltr/month. The industry has maintained record regarding the consumption of fresh water in the process and effluent lifting which was found to be in consonance. </span></p>
