The industry has submitted CTO fee under Water Act, 1974 amounting 21,200/- vide UTR no. SBIN422245877729 dated 02.09.2022 which is valid till 31.10.2027.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">In view of above it is recommended that the industry may be granted CTO under Water Act, 1974 till 30.09.2027 subject to following conditions:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: 72.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI'; color: black;">a)</span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;"> </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI'; color: black;">The industry will not use recycled granules for manufacturing of Plastic Bottles & Caps. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: 72.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI'; color: black;">b)</span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;"> </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI'; color: black;">The industry will not use, store, manufacturer, distribute any SUP items banned in accordance with MoEF&CC notification no. G.S.R. 571(E) dated 12.08.2021.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; margin-left: 72.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI'; color: black;">c) The industry will comply with the provisions of the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 (as amended from time to time). </span></p>
