<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;">It is intimated that the service station was earlier granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH2/2021/16893137 dated 01/11/2021 & the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH2/2021/16893131 dated 01/11/2021, both are valid upto 30.09.2022 for the Sale and Service of Harley Bikes @ 10 Numbers/Day under name of M/s Sterling Mobikes Pvt. Ltd</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 under new name of M/s Sandhu Moto Private Limited alongwith requisite documents.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The service station has submitted latest C.A certificate with value of fixed assets of Rs. 45.87 Lacs. The service station has deposited consent fees under both acts valid upto 31.03.2027.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The site of the industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 10.12.2022 and it was observed that :-</span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The workshop was not in operation during the visit, however engaged in sale and service of Harley Bikes.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The workshop has installed ETP for the treatment of trade effluent generated from washing process and same was not in operation during visit.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The representative of the workshop submitted that only 1 or 2 bikes are received on alternative days for washing and servicing purpose. The ETP is operated on batch basis i.e. once the collection tank is full of enough effluent to sustain the operation of the components of the ETP only then the ETP is operated on batch process.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The workshop has developed plantation area of approx.. 300 to 350 sq. yards for disposal of treated effluent generated from the ETP.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The workshop has installed 1 no. D.G. set of 125KVA with canopy.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The workshop has submitted DTP certificate vide no. 1923<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>dated 18.08.2016 mentioning that the site of the workshop falls in the industrial zone as per Master Plan Ludhiana (2007-2031).</span></li>

<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify;"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span></span></strong><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-bidi-language: PA; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that the consent under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the workshop upto 30.09.2026 with usual conditions please.</span></p> |
