CTOA/Renewal/PKT/2016/4711150 dated 07/11/2016, which is valid upto 30/09/2026. Now, the subject cited brick kiln has applied for obtaining consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for the operation of Brick Kiln after converting into old technology to Zig-Zag setting as per policy of the Board through OCMMS mode along with requisite documents.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 200%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The brick kiln has deposited Rs. 8300/- Vide UTR No. JAKA221103582228 dated 03/11/2022, Rs. 18000/- Vide UTR No. JAKA221103582240 dated 03/11/2022 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 1800/- as NOC Regularization and Rs. 500/- as application fee which is adequate upto 30/09/2027 against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 16,21,533/- as on 31/08/2022. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 200%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The BKO has submitted completion certificate issued by Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee intimating that the industry has constructed High Draft Brick Kiln with zig-zag technology, rectangular in shape as per CSIR-CBRI design via drawing no. 21/045. The Brick Kiln has also submitted the copy of dimensional drawing/plan of Kiln showing the length of Central Island of brick kiln is less than 210 ft. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 200%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The BKO has submitted letter issued from DFSC, Pathankot it is informed that the Brick kiln has not in working in the financial years 2019-20 & 2020-21. The applicant has also submitted copy of coal register duly signed by the Chartered Accountant and undertaking regarding non-operational of BKO without Zig-Zag Technology which may kindly be perused. As per the coal register, the brick kiln has not procured any coal since Febuary-2019, which indicates that brick kiln is not in operation, since Febuary-2019 to Nov-2021. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry was visited by officer of the Board on 07/12/2022 and observed as under:- </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">In view of the above, may if approved “Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the Brick Kiln for a period upto 30/09/2027 subject to the suitable conditions along with the special conditions as under:- </span></p>
