CTOW/Renewal/RPN/2020/12931636 dated 10/07/2020 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/RPN/2020/12931610 dated 10/07/2020, both were expired on 30/06/2024<span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"> </span>for operation of screening & washing of aggregates @ 65 TPD subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-pagination: none; mso-layout-grid-align: none; punctuation-wrap: simple; text-autospace: none; margin: 0cm 6.0pt 10.0pt 4.5pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Thereafter, the Consent to Operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 was revoked/cancelled vide no. 1110 dated 27.04.2022 due to the non-submission of the mining certificate as per the decision no. 02 of the personal hearing held on 31.08.2021 in light of the instructions issued by the Board vide letter no. 16536 dated 23.07.2021 for processing the CTE/CTO applications for stone crushers/screening/washing plants.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-pagination: none; mso-layout-grid-align: none; punctuation-wrap: simple; text-autospace: none; margin: 0cm 6.0pt 10.0pt 4.5pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Now, the unit has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">The industry has submitted the compliance report of previous consent granted to the unit, undertaking regarding code of practice & regarding legal mining and CA certificate dated 23.11.2022, wherein the value of fixed assets of the industry as on 31.03.2022 is of Rs. 9.38 Lakhs with the value of plant and machinery of Rs. 5.08 lakhs. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">As per record file, the fee deposited by the unit under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 was adequate upto 30.06.2024. As such, after deducting 50% penalty as late application fee, the fee is now adequate upto 31.12.2023 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Georgia; mso-bidi-font-family: Georgia; mso-font-width: 110%; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">Further, the unit has submitted the slips of obtaining raw material from M/s Santokh Stone Crusher, Village Berson, Tehsil Nalagarh, District Solan verified by O/o Sub Division Officer, Drainage-cum-Mining Sub Division, Rupnagar.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 72.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Further, as per circular no. 443 dated 09.08.2021, the case for renewal of NOC/Consent to operate for Red, Orange and Green category of small scale industries/projects, without inspection/physical verification of the environmental parameters at the time of submission of such applications is to be processed based on self-certification submitted by the industry to the effect that it is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. As such, the stone crushing unit covers under orange category and was not visited to verify the compliance before processing the current application.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: 67.0pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 5.95pt 5.7pt 6.0pt 5.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">In view of the above facts and letter issued by the Executive Engineer, Deptt. of Irrigation-cum-Mining, Sri Anandpur Sahib and e-mail received from Executive Engineer, Deptt. of Irrigation-cum-Mining, Rupnagar, if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2023, subject to the suitable conditions as mentioned in the previous consents granted to the unit and additional conditions as under:</span></p>

If the crusher owner gives the source from these sites then that is a valid source.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-pagination: none; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: 59.05pt; text-autospace: none; margin: 0cm 5.65pt .0001pt 95.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Thereafter, vide e-mail dated 11.11.2022 received from Executive Engineer, Water Resources-cum-Mining Department, Rupnagar has sent a letter for Legal Source of Raw Material issued by the Principal Secretary Mines and Geology addressed to the Chairman PPCB. No correspondence is received in this regard yet.</span></p>
