<p><span style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">It is submitted that the industry is located in commercial plots of JLPL located at Sector-66A, Mohali. The JLPL industrial area is approved for setting up of green category industries only however it is submitted that the site of the project falls in commercial area as per zoning plan of Sector-66-A, 82 & 83, SAS Nagar, and establishment of Hotel/ Restaurant is permissible as per the plan. </span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Further, there is no industry for which specific guidelines have been laid down by the Board within the radius mentioned in the respective guidelines. There is no air polluting industry within a radius of 100 m from the boundary of the project site and there is no MAH industry within a radius of 250 m radius from the boundary of the proposed site.</span></p>
<p><span style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Hence, certification from DTP is not required regarding the suitability of site. Further, project proponent is complying </span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #5d5d5d; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; text-align: justify;">with the mechanism/ guidelines prescribed by the Board on 02.02.2021 as well as Board's letter no. 22641-46 dated 14/10/2021.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">In view of above, it is recommended that ‘consent to operate’ under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for short term i.e. 30.06.2023 with special condition as under:</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-left: 81pt; text-indent: -27pt;">a)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The restaurant will install composter bins regularly for disposal of bio-degradable solid waste generated from kitchen and maintain record of quantity of waste treated.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-left: 81pt; text-indent: -27pt;">b)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The project proponent will not carry out any modification/ expansion in the restaurant cum brewery without obtaining prior permission of the Board.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-left: 81pt; text-indent: -27pt;">c)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The restaurant shall use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) within its premises and will not use any SUP items banned in accordance with MoEF&CC notification no. G.S.R. 571(E) dated 12.08.2021.</p>
