R15BTICTOA2293791 dt. 15.01.2015, with validity upto 30.09.2019, for operation of brick kiln with natural draft technology to manufacture bricks & tiles @ 30,000 nos./day, subject to the conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0.4pt 9.7pt 0cm 14.2pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -34.7pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Wingdings;">Ø<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 and new consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 under orange category as per the prevailing policy after converting the brick kiln on zig-zag technology to manufacture bricks & tiles @ </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">30,000 nos./day. The Brick kiln has submitted completion certificate dt. 20.02.2020 from CSIR-Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee to the effect that the kiln has constructed high draft brick kiln with Zigzag technology, rectangular in shape as per the CSIR-CBRI design.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0.4pt 9.7pt 0cm 14.2pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -34.7pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Wingdings;">Ø<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">The kiln has deposited consent fees of Rs. 35,995/- through online vide R.no. SBIN422322555908 dated 18.11.2022 under Air Act, 1981 including penalty fee and Rs. 23,395/- through online vide R.no. SBIN422322560547 dated 18.11.2022 under Water Act, 1974, which is adequate upto 30.09.2032 against the fixed asset of Rs. 20.90 lac as per the C.A. certificate.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0.85pt 16.95pt 0cm 14.2pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -14.15pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; letter-spacing: -0.1pt;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">The kiln has converted its kiln to zig-zag technology as per design of CSIR- Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee. The CBRI, Roorkee has issued completion certificate dated 20.02.2020.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0.85pt 16.95pt 0cm 14.2pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -14.15pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; letter-spacing: -0.1pt;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">The brick kiln is <strong>using agro waste fuel i.e. Gauwra Crop</strong> in loose form for the firing purpose, which is unauthorized fuel as per Board’s office memorandum no. 397 dt. 22.1.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0.85pt 17.15pt 0cm 14.2pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -14.15pt; line-height: 18.08px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 18.08px; font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; letter-spacing: -0.1pt;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">The kiln has provided a ladder and a plat form with the stack for collection of emission sample.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin: 2.05pt 0cm 0cm 14.2pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -42.55pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Wingdings;">Ø<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">The brick kiln has not submitted copy of coal register as proof of actual operation of the brick kiln without adopting induced draught zig-zag technology from the period 01.02.2019 to 20.02.2020 as the industry has given an undertaking that the brick kiln operated only with agro/bio mass from 01.02.2019 to 27.03.2019 and thereafter the kiln has not been operated till adoption of induced draft zig zag technology.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 2.05pt 0cm 0cm 14.2pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -42.55pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Wingdings;">Ø<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">Accordingly deposited Environmental Compensation of Rs. 50,000/- vide R.no. 01/5521 dt. 13.12.2022 (@ 25,000/- per month, for its brick production capacity @ 30,000 Nos. per day). Thus, the brick kiln has made compliance to PSCST letter no. 10/48/2019-STE (5)/1491442/1 dt. 28.05.2019 and decision meeting dt. 28.01.2020.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin: 2.05pt 0cm 0cm 14.2pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -42.55pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Wingdings;">Ø<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">In compliance to para-V of the meeting dt. 28.01.2020, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and has deposited consent to operate fee under Water Act, 1974 w.e.f 01.11.2018.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0.2pt 0cm 14.2pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -35.2pt; line-height: 18.08px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Wingdings;">Ø<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;">The kiln is complying with the code of practice prescribed by the Board for the brick kin in the state and directions issued by Govt./ PPCB from time to time. The kiln is also complying with the recommendations given by the CSIR-Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee in the feasibility report for adopting operating practice as well as fuel feeding practice. The industry is also complying with the provision of Water Act, 1974.</span></p>
