There is no category code available for honey processing units / the units which have installed only boiler etc. in the uniform category codes available. However, the industry was granted consent to establish/(NOC) vide no. CTE/Fresh/LDHKH/2021/14613210 dated 15/02/2021 valid upto 14/02/2022 for manufacturing Natural Honey @ 10 MTD under category code 1999-Miscellaneous (Red). Accordingly, the subject cited unit has now applied for obtaining fresh 'consent to operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under same category code.</span></p>

The Capacity of RO Plant is 500 Litre per Hour and the disposal of RO reject is directly used for plantation.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Domestic effluent generated is being discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">It has installed wood based baby boiler of capacity 400 kg/h with cyclone as APCD and adequate stack height</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">It is pertinent to mention here that the industry has already been granted Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, therefore, in view of the recommendations given by Regional Office, if approved, Consent to Operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Natural Honey @ 10 MTD may also be granted upto<strong> 30/06/2027</strong> with suitable conditions and following specific conditions that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 8.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 107%;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">1. </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;"> The industry will operate & maintain its air pollution control device (APCD), regularly and efficiently, so as to achieve the stack emission standards, consistently as prescribed by the Board/ MoEF&CC as amended from time to time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 8.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 107%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">2. The industry shall ensure that no black smoke should be emitted from the stack of the industry at any time.</span></p>

The industry shall get the stack emission monitoring from Board's lab within one month.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">4. The industry shall not throw, burn or burry any solid wastes in open, outside premises or in drain / water bodies.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">5. The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic, through their Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">6. The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and</span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocal or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">7. The industry shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</span></p> |
