<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">RO has reported that earlier, the unit was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. O15ASRCTOA3240392 dated 12/11/2015, which was valid up to dated <span lang="EN-IN">30/09/2018 </span>and under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. O15ASRCTOW3240524 dated 09/12/2015 which was valid up to dated 30/09/2016 (for preparing Food Items (Veg & Non-Veg) 2000 Meals/Day, by using Atta @ 10 Kgs/day, Rice @ 5 Kgs/day, Green Vegetables @ 20 Kgs/day, Chicken @ 5 Kgs/day, Fish @ 1 Kgs/day, Ice Cubes @ 10 Kgs/day, Potato @ 10 Kgs/day & Onion @ 5 Kgs/day as raw material and trade effluent @ 37 KLD).</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"> Now, the unit has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 along with compliance of the previous granted consents, CA certificate, copy of Resolution passed for authorized representatives, MoA, location plan & affidavit for treated effluent be used for plantation etc.</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"> It is further intimated that the unit is complying with the conditions of consents granted earlier under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 and competency to decide the case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board.</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"> It is pertinent to mention here that Board issued order vide no. CEE(HQ) F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding to grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries.</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"> RO has recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the unit up to 30/09/2027 with suitable terms & conditions along with special conditions that the unit will get effluent sample analyzed from the Board within 02 months.</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">EEZO has processed the case and made observations that a personal hearing was given on 25/05/2017 before the SEE at Amritsar, wherein it was decided as under:-</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">"The Regional Office shall keep regular check on the industry so that it may not restart without previous consent of the Board under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 as amended in 1988 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as amended in 1987."</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"> Now the RO has processed the case without visit after recommissioning of the project. Moreover as per record file, the industry has not been visited since long time contrary to the policy of the Board.</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">RO has directed to visit the site and verify latest status, collect the effluent samples and get it analyzed from Board's lab and resubmit the case accordingly immediately.</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">In reply RO has reported that the industry was visited on 12.12.2022 and found not in operation. Cleaning and servicing of machinery was in progress. The representative informed that the unit will be put in operation only after obtaining CTO of the board.</p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">RO has recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the unit up to 30/09/2027 with suitable terms & conditions along with special conditions that the unit will get effluent sample analyzed from the Board within 02 months.</span></p>
<p style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">In view of above, may if approved </span><span style="font-size: 16px;">the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the unit up to 30/09/2023 with suitable terms & conditions along with special conditions that the unit will get effluent sample analyzed from the Board within 02 months from the issuance of the consent.</span></p> |
