<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">RO has reported that earlier, the industry was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control<span style="color: red;"> </span>of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">CTOA/Renewal/ASR/2020/13717596 dated 18/11/2020 and under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/ASR/2020/13717732 dated 18/11/2020, which were valid up to dated 30/09/2021 (for manufacturing of Capsules @ 2500 Numbers/Day, Tablets @ 15000 Numbers/Day & Syrup @ 50 Liter/day by using Paracetamol @ 2.5 Kgs/day, Ciprofloxacin @ 1 Kgs/day, Oflaxacin @ 1 Kgs/day, Ibuprofen @ 1.2 Kgs/day, Vitamin B-1, B-2, B-12 etc @ 0.100 Kgs/day & Diclofenac Sodium @ 0.3 Kgs/day as raw material and domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD & any other @ 0.2 KLD).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 along with compliance of the previous granted consents and CA certificate.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> It is further intimated that the industry is complying with the conditions of consents granted earlier under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 and competency to decide the case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> It is pertinent to mention here that Board issued order vide no. CEE(HQ) F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding to grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 16px;">RO has recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 30/09/2026 with suitable terms & conditions.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 30/09/2026 with suitable terms & conditions along with special condition that RO shall visit the industry to check the Water/Air pollution control devices within 02-months from the issuance of the consent.</span></p>
