<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 53.6pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; color: black; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Now, the industry has </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">applied for obtaining Consent to establish/NOC Expansion under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under large scale Red Category for manufacturing of Rice Bran Refined Oil @ 149 TPD and total production after expansion Rice Bran Refined Oil @ 225 TPD or Refined Cotton seed and other oils @ 98 TPD by using Rice Bran oil @ 300 MT/day or Cotton seed and Other oils @ 100 MT/day as raw material.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 53.6pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; color: black; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has installed three Boilers of capacity 1.5 TPH, 04 TPH and 3 TPH, in which rice husk is used as fuel which are provided with Multi Cyclone Separator and stack of adequate height as APCD. </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The boiler furnace is equipped with cyclone separator as APCD and has attached with common stack of 4 TPH boiler of adequate height.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 53.6pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; color: black; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has also installed two D.G Sets having capacity 500 KVA and 1875 KVA equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 53.6pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The master plan of Dhuri is yet to be prepared. However, the industry has submitted the site suitability certificate issued by SDM, Dhuri vide no. 1461 dated 07/10/2022, mentioning that the site of the industry is falls outside 100 meter from village Phirni/Lal Lakir, MC limit of Dhuri and 15 residential houses.</span></p>

The analysis results received from Head Office Lab, Patiala reveals that the concentration of various parameters is found within the permissible limits as prescribed by the Board.</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; color: black;"> </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The details of the stack emission and treated trade effluent samples is mentioned above at Sr. No. B (viii) and C (i).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 53.6pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has submitted feasibility report prepared by M/s Eco Laboratories and Consultants Private Ltd. w.r.t. treatment of trade and domestic effluent to be generated from its operation after expansion.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 53.6pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Further, as per the feasibility report the trade and domestic effluent to be generated from the expansion of the unit are to be treated in already installed ETP and STP respectively. As per the feasibility report the ETP is capable to take the increased load of the trade effluent @ 76.5 KLD to be generated from its operation. Further, the STP already installed will be capable of taking the load of domestic effluent @ 16.5 KLD which is to be generated after expansion. The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the Consent to establish/NOC Expansion under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted.</span></p> |
