<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is submitted that the industry was earlier issued a show cause notice under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide letter no. 5012 dated 07/03/2022 for applying the Consent to Establish/ consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Thereafter, the industry had applied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, but the same was returned with the request to change the category from orange to red due to addition of surface treatment process.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Subsequently, the industry has now again applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under Red Category for manufacturing of Dental Chairs @ </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">720 Number/Year by using MS Rod/Flat/Sheet/Pipe etc.</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> @ </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">72 MT/Year, Fibre, Plastic cover/ parts @ 720 Number/Year and Electronic & Electrical Components (sets) @ 720 Number/Year as raw material,</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> alongwith requisite documents and fees.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted its CA certificate dated 25/03/2022 mentioning the cost of the fixed assets of Rs. 116.76 lakh. As per the application form the unit has been establish in 2005. The industry has deposited Rs. 1,51,250/- (Rs. 142850/- under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Rs. 8400/- as NOC regularization fees, and Rs. 500/- as application form fees) vide online UTR no. N115221930267168 dated 25/04/2022 and Rs. 1,42,850/- under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide online UTR no. N115221930260972 dated 25/04/2022. The fees is calculated as per the VDS scheme issued by the Board vide dated 21/11/2022. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 28/02/2027, under both the Acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted its approved building plan of its unit got approved by Er. Jasvir Singh Competent Person approved under Punjab Factory Act, 1948. The industry has submitted an agreement executed with M/s Bantech Water Private Limited for treatment of industrial wastewater.</span></p>

Presently, the industry is not doing any surface treatment at the site due to some renovation work. However, the industry has made an agreement with the M/s CETP Focal Point, Chanallon for the disposal of trade effluent. The industry has also installed storage tank of untreated effluent of capacity @ 500 ltr.</span></p>
