However, it had applied for the discharge of trade effluent <strong>@ 696 KLD & domestic effluent @ 4 KLD</strong> into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD.</span></p>

The PDA vide his letter dated 22.09.2022, submitted by the industry has also informed that this unit has allotted the share equivalent to 696 KL per day. The industry has also submitted latest letter of PDA dated 28.12.2022 in which is has been stated that this unit has been allowed to discharge effluent equivalent to 696 KLD instead of 522 KLD into the CETP, it was clerical mistake in email send to PPCB on 22.07.2022. Please consider the shares of Krishna Processors as 696 KLD. The copy of the letter enclosed for kind perusal. </span></p>

No. SBIN222313107494 dated 10.11.2022 under Water Act, 1974, which is adequate upto 31.08.2027 under said act. </span></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has installed 17 soft flow machines i.e. 450 Kg X 3, 300 Kg X 11, 150 Kg X 3.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The study on effluent generation has been done by the Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNE) and as per report it has total effluent generation as 640 KLD from its total 32 chamber of soft flow machines. However, the industry has granted 522 KLD shares on 22.07.2022 of CETP, hence the discharge of the industry is 118 KLD more than the share allotted to it. Around 50% machines of the industry already sealed against the required sealing of 19%. Hence all the machinery of the industry was de-sealed during visit 17.10.2022 except 02 soft flow of 300 Kg each. </span></li>

The industry has provided the flow meter at its final outlet leading to CETP. The industry was also advised to provide the flow meter at inlet water supply.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has installed one boiler of capacity 08 TPH and one thermopac of capacity 1500U with trima cyclone & two stage water scrubber as APCD with common stack. During visit, rice husk/agro waste was being used as fuel and adequate stack has been provided.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has also installed two DG sets of capacity 500 KVA & 125 KVA with canopies and adequate heights.</span></p>

Level. </span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-bottom: 10.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.2in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be considered for grant for short period as approved by the Competent Authority in such cases for the discharge of trade effluent & domestic effluent @ 640 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD subject to the condition that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo4; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt 58.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; letter-spacing: -.05pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(i)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry will install EMF at inlet water supply also within 01 month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo4; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt 58.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; letter-spacing: -.05pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(ii)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall make the necessary arrangements to achieve the effluent standards as per the inlet designed parameters of the CETP.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo4; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt 58.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; letter-spacing: -.05pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(iii)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall stop discharging its effluent in case due to any reason the CETP is not operational or dedicated conveyance system is overflowing.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo4; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt 58.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; letter-spacing: -.05pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(iv)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall maintain the record of flow meter installed at outlet leading to CETP.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo4; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt 58.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; letter-spacing: -.05pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">(v)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall not generate/discharge trade & domestic effluent more than 640 KLD without obtaining prior permission of the Board.</span></p>
