<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Kindly peruse the agenda note and recommendation given by RO</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> It is intimated that PP has applied fresh CTE for the development of commercial projects having 60 the showroom having 3442 sqm and a built-up area of 5732 under the name and style of M/s JMR GROUP (CP) and for the total wastewater generation from the project will be 7.5 KLD, same will be discharged for use land for plantation as per karnal technology having khasra No. 20//16(6-10), 17/1(0-6.5), 24/2/2(0-0,25/1/2(3-18/1/2), 21//11/1/2(1-2),20/3(1-6). Total of 13 Kanal 4.0 marla (out of which only 6 Kanal and 16 marla land have been converted for commercial use for this project and the remaining land will be used for plantation as per karnal technology) after treatment with STP capacity 10 KLD. And the same land <span lang="EN-IN">will be used till the Sewer/STP of MC Zirakpur comes to be adequate capacity.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">RO has reported that <span lang="EN-IN">the site is complying with the siting guidelines. </span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">If approved </span> CTE applied by PP may be granted for one year subject to suitable conditions and additional conditions as proposed by EE, RO. An additional condition may be imposed that </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> 1. The promoter company shall ensure that the total built-up area of construction being carried out by it or any different builders may not be greater than 20,000 sqm, otherwise, the project as such is covered under category 8(a) of the schedule appended to the EIA notification and project proponent of the building and construction project is required to obtain the environmental clearance, failure which, the promoter company/builder shall be liable for action for the violation of EIA notification dated14/09/2006. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">2. The promoter company shall ensure that the total built-up area of all individual projects/plots combined together is not more than 1,50,000 sqm, otherwise, the project as such is covered under category 8(b) of the schedule appended to the EIA notification and project proponent of the area development project is required to obtain the environmental clearance, failure which, the promoter company shall be liable for action for the violation of EIA notification dated14/09/2006. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">3. The project proponent will not discharge domestic effluent into the sewer leading to the STP, Zirakpur without prior written permission of the Board.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">4. The project proponent shall not give possessions to the owners without prior permission of the Board.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">5. The PP shall install the smog gun well before starting the construction.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">6. The project proponent shall develop a plantation area </span>as per karnal technology having khasra No. 20//16(6-10), 17/1(0-6.5), 24/2/2(0-0,25/1/2(3-18/1/2), 21//11/1/2(1-2),20/3(1-6). Total 13 Kanal 4.0 marla (out of which only 6 Kanal and 16 marla land have been converted for commercial use for this project and the remaining land will be used for plantation as per karnal technology)<span lang="EN-IN">. The PP shall not carry out any type of construction in the area reserved for plantation till the upgradation and enhanced capacity of the STPs installed by the MC is adequate and sewer connection is granted by the MC authority.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN"> 7. PP will develop the project on its own risk & cost in regard to disposal arrangement.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">8. The promoter company shall also explore the possibility of using treated domestic effluent for useful purposes such as construction work, sprinkling on dusty patches/roads, use in nearby construction activities, etc.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">9. The industry shall obtain the necessary clearance for the abstraction of groundwater from the Punjab Water Regulation & Development Authority (PWRDA).</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">10. The promoter company shall ensure compliance with the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016, and being the bulk waste generator shall ensure segregation of solid waste at source, facilitate collection of segregated waste in separate streams, handover recyclable material to either the authorized waste pickers or the authorized recyclers as prescribed in Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">11. The bio-degradable waste shall be processed, treated, and disposed of through a mechanical composter. The residual waste shall be given to the waste collectors or agency as directed by the local body.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN"> 12. The promoter company shall not consume any fuel except HSD for DG set, for burning purposes without the prior written permission of the Board.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN"> 13) The PP shall install the smog gun to control the dust emission to be generated from the construction activities of the project.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN"> </span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">14. The project proponent shall not discharge any domestic effluent (treated or untreated) into choe / drain /river or in any inland surface water at any time or any other unauthorized place by any unauthorized means and shall explore the possibility of reduction of quantum of abstraction of groundwater by reusing the treated wastewater in the various activities.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN"> 15. The project proponent shall maintain the plantation area as well as a permanent pipeline network for uniform distribution of wastewater in the entire plantation area, so that no stagnation of wastewater occurs inside, outside, or in the plantation area at any time.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">16. The project proponent shall install a water meter on the freshwater supply and all proposed modes of disposal.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">17. The industry shall ensure compliance with provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, and or any other environment law applicable to him and rules, circulars issued by the Board from time to time.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span lang="EN-IN">18. In case of any violation action u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 will be initiated for closure of the project proponent without further notice.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">A copy of the CTE may be forwarded to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (UD) for SAS Nagar for information with the request not to allow any expansion/ approval on the land of 13 Kanal 4.0 marla proposed/ reserved for plantation (having khasra No. 20//16(6-10), 17/1(0-6.5), 24/2/2(0-0,25/1/2(3-18/1/2), 21//11/1/2(1-2),20/3(1-6). Total of 13 Kanal 4.0 marla (out of which only 6 Kanal and 16 marla land have been converted for commercial use for this project and the remaining land will be used for plantation as per karnal technology, village Lohgarh Zirakpur, Distt. SAS Nagar).</span></p>
