File Note: <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">It is submitted that the industry is a small scale orange category industry and has been granted Consent to operate under Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide CTOA/Renewal/LDH4/2022/20032568 dated 10/10/2022 is valid upto 30/09/2023. Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The industry has earlier deposited consent fee of amounting to Rs. 21500/- vide R. No. 653176474 dated 28.09.2022 under the Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2027<span style="color: red;">.</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">To verify the facts, the industry was visited by undersigned on 20.10.2022 and it was observed as under :-</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">1. The hot mix plant was in operation during visit and has installed hot mix plant, 01 no. bitumen heater and 01 no. D.G. Set of 100 KVA with canopy. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">2. The hot mix plant has provided dust collector followed by wet scrubber with re-circulation system as APCD to contain the emissions from the rotary drum, which was found in line. During visit air emission sample has been collected from port-hole on stack after APCD and analysis results has been received from Zonal Lab, Ludhiana and as per analysis result the concentration of particulate matter are found to be 139mg/Nm3 which are within the prescribed limit. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">3. The HMP has provided adequate stack height after APCD with sample collection facilities. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">4. The hot mix plant installed 01 bitumen heater and adequate stack height have been provided with these heaters. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">5. The hot mix plant has stabilized the movement area within its premises. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">6. The hot mix plant has provided canopy with D.G. Set with the adequate stack height. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">7. The hot mix plant has provided septic tank with provisions to discharge of domestic effluent after treatment for onto land for plantation. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">8. The hot mix plant has provided adequate plantation along with boundary in the premises. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">In view of the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027 with the suitable condition as per policy of the Board.</span></p> <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 1.0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', serif; font-size: 12pt;">CC:-SEE</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">&nbsp;</span></p>
