<p>It is submitted that as per latest guidelines of poultry farm dated 10.01.2022, the poultry farm is falls under Green Category. However, the said poultry farm has installed poultry feed mill and as per categorisation of industries dated 29.09.2016, the CPCB has mentioned "Fish feed, poultry feed and cattle feed" under Orange category at Serial no. 2030. </p>

<p>As such, feed mill is covered under Orange category and industry is required to be consider under Orange Category.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Further, the poultry farm falls under medium scale as per the guidelines dated Jan, 2022 of CPCB. Hence, the competency to decide the case for orange scale or green category medium scale lies with the SEE.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>It is further submitted that the poultry farm has not provided composting pits as well as holding tanks for management of wastewater.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>It is recommended as under:</p>
<p> </p>
<p>1. This office may be advised w.r.t. categorization of the poultry farm to be considered.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>2. Show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate may be issued to the poultry farm, please.</p> |
