<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">It is submitted that the subject cited industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the production of Corrugated Box @ 15000 Nos/Day by using Craft Paper @ 2 T/Day & Glue @ 100 Kgs/day under green category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">It is pertinent to mention here that as per the record of this office, the said unit has never applied for consent to operate/NOC from the Board in the past, therefore, the project is covered under VDS scheme of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The industry has deposited Rs. 55,000/- vide UTR No. 971763763 dated 14/12/2022 & Rs. 54,000/- vide UTR No. 35120852 dated 16/12/2022 as consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 respectively against gross value of fixed assets of the industry worth Rs. 73,28,503/- as on 30/11/2022 and same are adequate upto 31/12/2032 under both Acts including Rs. 500/- as form downloading fee<span style="color: red;">.</span> The project proponent has submitted Approved Building Plan from the competent person under the Punjab Factories Act, 1948.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The industry was visited by undersigned on 15/12/2022 and observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 27pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -27pt; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The industry is engaged in a process of manufacturing of Corrugated Box by using Craft Paper & Glue as a Raw material. During visit the industry was in operation during the visit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 27pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -27pt; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">There is no source of trade effluent from the industrial premises. Only domestic effluent is generated by the industry, for treatment for which the industry has constructed septic tank with provision to discharge the treated domestic effluent on to land for plantation.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: 27pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -27pt; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The industry has installed one no. D.G set of capacity 125, which is provided with canopy.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">May if approved consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31/12/2031 for the manufacturing of Corrugated Box @ 15000 Nos/Day by using Craft Paper @ 2 T/Day & Glue @ 100 Kgs/day subject to the following special conditions:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The industry shall not generate any trade effluent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The industry shall not enhance the production capacity of the unit without prior permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The industry shall provide rain water harvesting system in its premises to carry roof top rain water into underground strata within 06 month period from the date of issue of this consent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">No surface run off or any other rain water flowing in lawns/ garden be allowed to enter into the rain water harvesting system.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 23px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">All the pipes provided for the recharging system should be visible and properly coloured with light blue colour.</span></p>
