<p>Sir, it is intimated that the industry falls in residential area and a regular complaint has been received in this office regarding creating noise pollution. Earlier two times the application for consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 has been received due to above said reasons. The industry was issued directions u/s 31-A of Air Act, 1981 for its closure and PSPCL authority was also issued directions u/s 31-A of Air Act, 1981 for disconnection the power supply of the industry. PSPCL has not disconnected the power supply of the industry as yet and TDCO also awaited. Now, the industry has also apply for consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 without compliance of above said directions of the Competent Authority of the Board. Hence, the application for consent to operate has been considered at this stage. Keeping in view of above, if approved, consent application of the industry may be returned to the industry due to above said reasons.</p>
