<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">It is submitted that the industry was visited on 06.12.2022 and found in operation. The industry has provided covered shed for storage of primary ETP sludge, however some part of sludge was found lying in open, near to that area. The industry was recirculating the wastewater generated from its process back for beating and pulping process</span>.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 maybe renewed to the industry for shorter period i.e. upto 30.09.2023 with usual condition and special condition that the industry shall ensure all the times that entire ETP sludge be collected and stored in covered shed within premises, as per SOPs laid down by CPCB.</span></p> |
