<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">It is submitted that the industry was visited by undersigned on 16.12.2022 and observed that the industry is engaged in operation of gold testing and hallmarking and is located in predominately mixed area (residential cum commercial area). The industry has submitted feasibility report stating that trade effluent generated from parting and washing process shall be treated in treatment system consisting of collection, neutralization/reaction and settling, however no such treatment has been provided by the industry. Further the industry has provided water scrubber for the scrubbing of fumes generated from cupellation and parting process, however, the system seems inadequate. <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">In view of above, application of the industry cannot be processed further and if approved, the same maybe returned due to said observations please. </span></p>
