<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">Earlier, the industry was visited by the undersigned on 23/09/2022 and found manufacturing the carry bags of non-woven & BoPP. Accordingly, the directions were issued against the industry and PSPCL authorities were directed to disconnect electric connection of the industry. The industry have been directed to deposit Environmental Compensation amounting to Rs. 2 lac. The PSPCL vide TDCO No. 501/29 dated 14/11/2022 has disconnected the electricity supply of the industry.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">Now, the industry has applied for Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 along with requisite documents and fees under Green Category.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">The industry has submitted Rs 2 Lac Environmental Compensation vide R.No. 57/5451 dated 04/11/2022 in this office. The industry has submitted Machinery bills as proof of date of commissioning as Dec/2018, Manufacturing process flow chart, Land Use classification certificate from DTP, Ludhiana as Industrial Mix Zone, CA Certificate regarding Fixed assets as on 31/03/2022 and Approved Building plant from Competent person of DOF. The documents submitted by the applicant may kindly be perused.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">The industry was again visited by undersigned on 15/12/2022 to verify the contents of application and it was observed that the industry was not in operation due to non-availability of electricity. The industry has proposed to manufacture Printed and Plain Packaging Sheets for manufacturing Of Ladies Suits and Blanket Bags. There is no source of trade effluent/air pollution inside the industry and domestic effluent is discharged into MC sewer. The industry has installed Environmental Data Board outside the industry.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 1in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">In view of above, if approved,</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>Consent to Operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for short term period subject to suitable conditions.</p>
